Founder of Shanti Life, Kim Williamson has been in the health and beauty industry for as long as she remembers her life is a continuous learning about the mind, body and spirit, nutrition, health and fitness, and relaxation methods with over 20 years practise as a holistic face and body work therapist and 15 years teaching YOGA and various complimentary therapies.

Kim uses a variety of styles, which integrate her experience of Iyengar, Hatha, Astanga, Kaya Kalpa, and Restorative yoga, emphasising awareness of mind, body and breath whilst focusing on correct alignment. “I believe that while yoga makes our bodies stronger and more flexible, yoga’s greatest gifts are helping us to heal by stilling our mind and finding peace and an open heart~ which brings us back to grace.” Kim provides a safe, nurturing environment to allow students to develop their own understanding of yoga. Kim has also been doing healing bodywork and therapeutic massage incorporating Swedish, acupressure and aromatherapy, reflexology and Reiki to bring the body back to balance. Kim has produced a yoga music CD and just finished work on her first DVD, which will be launched through body in balance TV in March 2014.

I have been teaching yoga for 17 years…Yoga brings me to a place of peace, to a delicious space that allows exploration of oneself. A time for commune, bringing all things together. Yoga is a physical art working with the body, breath and mind to create harmony and wellbeing. I started out as a gymnast and lived in my gym slippers. After a bad injury at 14 I was unable to return to my practice. I found yoga when I moved to the Middle East in the 80’s and travelled frequently to India but I really immersed myself in my practice when I moved to NYC and studied under the legendary Swami Bua.

I then decided I wanted to wean myself from the corporate world and went upstate NY to the Sivananda ashram and did my teacher training. I have studied with Dr Sentil Khumar in India, learning more and more about the ancient practise of yoga and the sacred texts, I was blessed to be passed on the secrets of Kaya Kalpa and basic ayurveda principles… Yoga helped me to release pain from my old injuries and start to align my body, as I began to work through the physical with breath I found something else, a sense of calm, I found my happy place…solace. As my journey unfolds I can see the benefits that I am receiving and I want to share the gift.


Nora Meldere

Nora’s practice and teaching is based on her personal believe that each person is unique. Therefore, classes are focused around intention to leave competition and ego behind studio doors. She offers dynamic yoga classes for groups and individuals rooted in the Ashtanga Yoga tradition. In her classes Nora prefers a role of a guide rather than a teacher facilitating each individual practice.

Yoga is an essential part of her personal and professional holistic wellbeing practice. In combination with nutritional advice and mindfulness practices she supports people throughout lifestyle changes. Nora’s mission is to help people recognise their own resources and power to take charge of their health and happiness.

Rach Cox

Rachel has a background in dance, art, martial arts and law. For years Rachel pursued a career in law after graduating from Queen Mary university, London and BPP Law School. She returned to her first love of holistic therapy. It came naturally to her as she had been raised in an environment that welcomed and encouraged complimentary therapies.

One of her biggest influences is her mother who practiced homeopathy, reflexology, aromatherapy, iridology and massage for many years. Rachel has traveled the world to complete her various training and brings her unique zest for life to everything she does. Sometimes laughter really is the best medicine. She continues her personal and professional development on an annual basis, keeping up to date with the latest knowledge from around the world, developing her practice, therapies and of course, herself.

Magda mos

I am a Ashtanga Vinyasa student from now till forever. I have qualified in 2016 and since then studied the tradition. I practice primarily series and share my knowledge/assistance at various studios. The interaction with my students gives me heaps of motivation to develop myself. I am looking forward to my next TTC in 2019!

Donna Greaves

The humbling power of the universal life force energy that celebrates our connection to everything around us, that’s what drove me to Reiki and Sound Therapy. I found a renewed inner strength by becoming a healer and it has helped me to believe that there is a light at the end of every tunnel for
everyone out there.

I trained to become a Reiki Practitioner with the beautiful Reiki Master Sharon from Fern Natural Holistic Centre.
Truly honoured to have gone to Nepal and trained from the 3 rd Generation Grand Master Shree Krishna Shahi – Tibetan Singing Bowl Therapist & Sound Healer. Gong Therapist trained by an International Master of The Gong, Methab Benton from Texas US.

One thing I have learned over the years is that the human body responds to the gentlest touch and sound. Just being present with a loving and compassionate heart is enough. “The natural healing force in each one of us is the greatest force in getting well”.

Hemal Vyas

UK-based Isha Hatha Yoga teacher Hemal Vyas has been known for his calmness since childhood. While studying Pharmacy at University, he encountered the yoga teachings of Baba Ramdev and started to learn his Seven Pranayamas (breathing techniques). He found that the pranayamas gave him enormous stability and helped him face difficult exams with ease.

After graduating from his Pharmacy training, Hemal found himself facing unforeseen family and work challenges that shook him, and for the first time he started to question many things in his life. This was the first significant conscious step he took to look inward – pointing him to seek more about the truth of life.

Soon after, while clicking through TV channels one day, Hemal encountered Yogi & Mystic – Sadhguru, and found himself mesmerized by the wisdom and clarity that Sadhguru possessed.

This eventually led him to take programs through the Isha Foundation. After going through several courses, Hemal’s thirst for truth deepened and he decided it was time to explore the science of yoga in its full depth and dimension.

That’s when he decided to do the 21-week Isha Hatha Yoga Teacher Training Program at the Isha Yoga Centre in India. By the end of the program, he could not believe how he had transformed, and his thirst to further explore the science of yoga deepened, so he stayed at the Isha Yoga Centre for another 15 months.

After an epic adventure, Hemal decided that it was time to share this ancient wisdom of Classical Hatha Yoga with others, so he returned to his home town, Leicester, where he is now teaching yoga part-time.

Clizia DOsanjh

My love for yoga sparked when I was 16, during a challenging time in my life. Since then, this discipline has only been deepening my passion for sharing with others the benefits of living more present and soulfully.

I took my first teacher training in Kundalini Yoga in 2014, followed by my 200hrs in Integral Hatha & Vinyasa Yoga in 2016, and I’ve been teaching ever since.

I love to move with intention, uniquely blending different styles of yoga to create an inner balance between mind body and soul, and promote a deeper sense of lasting wellbeing.

Martina Knight

I trained in ballet and contemporary dance from a young age, and gained a BSc in Sport Science from the University of Turin (Italy) before moving to London and completing an MA in Performance at London Contemporary Dance School in 2010. I have since toured professionally with companies such as Henri Oguike Dance, Tom Dale Company and Tavaziva Dance as well as spending 7 years performing internationally with dance-circus and aerial company Motionhouse, before retiring in 2019.

In 2018 I became a Yoga Alliance Certified yoga teacher and my teaching journey began.

I have practiced yoga throughout my career as a way of supporting my art form both physically and mentally. Yoga has helped me achieve a focussed state of mind on stage, helping me deal with the stresses and pressures of delivering performances of a high standard but also as a way of connecting with myself, my spirituality and the way I relate with the world.

I have always been interested in the connection between movement and yoga. Pursuing a connection between body ,breath and mind in a creative and mindful way.

I am passionate about teaching and supporting each individual, building awareness, confidence and compassion through the use of movement.
Moving Mindflowness was born as my way of sharing my practice with others in a liberating, mindful , joyful and spiritual way.

Nic Sko

Nicole teaches gentle yoga, a gentle but strong practice inspired by her love of various yoga styles, all blended together in a mindful, relaxing practice that develops the mind body and spirit. Her soothing voice demands little, yet asks you to deliver all you wish for.

Nicole will take you on a yogic journey with inspiration from hatha to restorative, from kundalini to tantra, and from vinyasa to yin and nidra. She has been practicing yoga for 13 years, and teaching for 2 years, she completed her Hatha Yoga 200hrs in 2016.

Sukhjinder Sandhu

My name is sukhjinder which means happiness, contentment and peace. I have been teaching Kundalini yoga since 2010 completing level one which is a year long training and level two which can take up to five years. I also practise Satnam Rasayan which is a form of healing through staying completely present in the moment.

My first experience with kundalini yoga was two years after the birth of my first son. I had lost complete sense of my own identity and I felt lost. I was always meeting the needs of others without any concern for my own. After the first class, I could not believe how different I felt. There were elements of all the yogas I had done in the past, when it came to the meditation I felt I had spent time with me. From then on I gave myself one and a half hours every week, It was the greatest gift I could have received .

When you find something you truly connect with, it influence every aspect of your life. I feel I am a better wife, mother and employee. I can cope with so much more without feeling stressed. I can put everything into prospective without the pressure of everyday life.

Becoming a teacher has challenged me to face my inner most fears and anxieties. kundalini yoga is not a fitness class it is a way of life. This is just the beginning of my journey, i have taken the first step in becoming my true self.

Antonia Hruscovschi

International Yoga Alliance Certified teacher, I am determined to help you be your best self on an off the mat. Qualified in India, within the heart of yogic practices, I currently teach alignment-based Vinyasa, Hatha and Yin Yoga classes suitable for all levels.

Sceptic, to begin with, I first got onto the mat in 2014 to later find out that Yoga is indeed for everybody (myself included). From then onwards it was just a matter of time until I have decided to share this message with the rest of the world.

Nowadays I spread positive energy through dynamic and energising flows and hope to leave everyone a little better than I found them.

Amy Conway

Hello, my name is Amy, I am a physiotherapist and yoga teacher. My yoga teacher training was one of the best experiences of my life and I am passionate about sharing the knowledge I learnt there. I am particularly passionate about teaching people who are new to yoga and my background in physio therapy means I have an in-depth understanding of anatomy and posture alignment and can assist people with injuries.

I love to be in nature and practice outdoors as much as possible.

Satyadhara / Caroline

Caroline/Satyadhara has been studying yoga since her teens and practising Satyananda Yoga since the early 1990s. She studied with the Bihar School Of Yoga and Satyananda Yoga Centres UK and Eire, both accredited by the British Wheel of Yoga and has been teaching in Coventry since 2011. She set up Yogic Life in Earlsdon four years ago. She was a student of Swami Satyaprakash in Birmingham for 12 years, has been a teacher member of the British Wheel of Yoga for eight years, is a friend of the Satyananda Yoga Centre in Birmingham and is currently editor of Yoga Voices, the British Wheel’s regional magazine for the West Midlands.

Caroline/Satyadhara studied the British Wheel of Yoga’s Cancer module with Julie Friedeberger/Priya Shakti in 2016 and now runs yoga classes for people living with cancer at the Arden Centre at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust. She also teaches people with dementia.

I am Payal. Being an Indian i have practiced yoga for many years as i have seen pretty much everyone doing it around me. For me yoga is lot more than a physical workout and a beautiful way to connect with the divine forces. It has nothing to do with a particular religion as it is for everyone. The only place which gives the complete calmness other than your own house. Because we still allow the body to relax. The only difference being we cant give any luxuries.
