Stop! And book your tickets for the Greenwich Yoga and Vegan Festival which is happening this Saturday, June 15th, at Halley Academy, Blackheath, SE38EP. We can guarantee you that it will be a great family day out. Why?
Yes, there is an amazing variety of different Yoga and meditation sessions on offer – all indoors. Teachers from different backgrounds are coming together to teach at the festival. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned Yogi, you will surely find something that you like. You can see the entire timetable here
There is such an amazing variety of vegan food at this event that it deserves to be called as ‘Blackheath Vegan Food Festival’. From burgers to pizzas, from Indian fusion to filipino food — all food lovers are guaranteed to be delighted! For all sweet teeth out there, there are also lots of vegan and raw vegan cakes and sweet treats at the festival! If you don’t like gluten, you will be happy to know that there will be many gluten-free options
You can bring your kids along and let them discover the benefits of Yoga and meditation. There is a ‘Lil Yogi’ room at the festival where classes for children will take place. Remember, there is no entry fee for children. We believe that all children should have access to Yoga and meditation so that they can have good mental health as adults.
You can shop for beautiful handmade and unique vegan products such as skincare, beauty, household products, accessories, jewelry, vegan cheeses and butters, vegan t-shirts, crystals and lots more from over 60 stalls. Most of the stallholders are independent traders and startups. Isn’t it fab to support small businesses! We highly recommend stopping by at these 8 stalls:
Nuzest for an amazing range of vegan supplements and advice on nutrition
Nine Acres for chemical-free household and personal care products
Elements of Alchemy for vegan bespoke crystal infused candles made with reiki love & Tibetan sound frequency.
Hasta Collection for soul-pleasing jewelry made from pure silver
RoxyRara for yummy vegan cupcakes and other desserts
Mind Body Dynamic for gorgeous meditation accessories like pillows, blankets and cushions
Chakra Project for beautiful hand-made Yoga mat bags and other accessories
Get an opportunity to meet some amazing Yoga & meditation teachers and wellbeing experts. Feel free to ask them questions and chat after sessions. We promise you that they are super friendly! You can read more about our teachers here
If the weather allows, there will outdoor Yoga sessions as well. Wouldn’t it be divine to do Yoga in fresh air and sunlight? These sessions will be open to all!
Imagine lying down on the floor, totally relaxed as your ears and body feel the vibration of Tibetan singing bowls and gong! Experience the magic of sound healing by attending sessions at the festival. Great for those who are seeking stress relief. No need to do Yoga postures!
