Stockholm Yoga and Vegan Festival
Join Stockholm’s first-ever Yoga and Vegan Festival at the popular events hub, Lavalhallen. Teachers from different backgrounds and countries are coming together to run sessions at the festival. This is a not-for-profit event organized to spread awareness about Yoga and veganism.
Date : Sunday | 26th May 2019
Time : 10:00-19:00
Venue : Lavalhallen, Gustaf De Lavals Torg 8, NACKA, 131 59, Stockholm
You can participate in Yoga and meditation sessions, treat your taste buds to some delicious plant-based foods and drinks prepared by talented chefs of Lavalhallen, try henna body art, enjoy relaxing massages, attend talks on subjects of health and wellbeing (including mental health), and end the day with fun Bollywood dancing. There will also be free Yoga classes for children to make this a perfect family day out. Please see below to know the format of the festival.
85 SEK (online); 100 (on-the-door). Free for Children
We will have 10 yoga classes at the festival taught by teachers from United Kingdom, Sweden and India. Each session is priced at only 85 SEK (plus booking fee) and gives you access to some free workshops as well. Yes, you heard that right. In Stockholm, a single Yoga session costs 200 SEK but at our festival you get a Yoga class plus free sessions for only 85 SEK
You can stay for as long or as little as you like. If you want to attend more than one session, you are welcome to do that – you just need to buy more tickets. Everything can be booked online and you will be guaranteed a space in the class of your choice.
Please remember to arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the time of your class. The check-in desks will be open all day. For example, if your class is at 2pm, you are welcome to check-in at 10am – we will scan your e-ticket and give you paper ticket against it. You can then and hang out in the stall area, attend talks or just chill until your class starts.
We request you to bring your own mats. If you can’t bring a Yoga mat, you can bring a Yoga towel as the surface is wooden.
Please note that all children below the age of 14 years will get free entry to the festival. There will be some sessions exclusively for children. Children can also attend the normal Yoga classes with adults. We just request you to not leave your children unattended at any time.
The details of the Yoga/meditation sessions, ticket sales and a full programme will be announced shortly.
This festival celebrates two ideas that are changing the world for better – Yoga and Veganism. We’re organizing such festivals all over the world. Peace, love and compassion for all living beings, go vegan in 2019.
Bring Your Own
Please help us reduce waste at this festival by bringing your own box/plate/cutlery/cups. All of our stalls will only use eco-friendly cutlery but it still creates waste.
We hope that you’ll support this initiative to minimise waste.
Thanks in advance 🙂
